is not a corporate business site. We are a geek group interested in PCs and understand how PC can be overwhelming to anyone. So, we decided to put our brains to the test and create a website that focuses on educating the user. So when purchasing a new computer, you can have some knowledge in finding the right computer for you.
As many of us have known, not many people are familiar with PC hardware and capability for specific programs, which leads to consumers buying a PC on the shelf at your local electronic store expecting all programs to work. In reality, if the program you're running isn't compatible with the PC. It can slowly burn the CPU with the motherboard and (if it's heavy with graphics)kill the GPU. Overall you would have a dead expensive on your desk.
That's where Aimics comes into play. We all have been to our local electronic stores purchasing a Desktop or laptop. When the sales rep is listing down the specs, we are clueless about what they're talking about and how this would affect the performance. Aimics have laid out a complete education in learning about PCs and learning to build one (if interested). We discuss the main components in a computer and different monitors.
Our goals from a group of geeks are too inspired to educate, show appreciation for computers and most importantly, have fun. It might come off as much weight to put on our user, but we believe that everyone will get the talent to understand computers and walk out of the electronic store like a SUPERVISOR.
We wanted you to have some fun with a group of geeks at Aimics. We developed a personality quiz to learn about you and what you look for in a computer (career, entertainment, budget, user friendly, and accessibility). By the end of the quiz, you'll receive a score with the computer fitted for you.
